                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
                   (FINAL), CONTRACT 77 & 76A, DAYTONA HEIGHTS
                   COLLECTION SYSTEM, WITH CLIFFORD HAMPTON
                   CONSTRUCTION, INC., WHICH CHANGE ORDER
                   DECREASES THE CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO
                   HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED
                   SIXTY-EIGHT AND 65/100 DOLLARS ($259,668.65)
                   FOR A FINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION,
                   TWO HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED
                   NINETY-EIGHT AND 35/100 DOLLARS
                   ($1,217,298.35).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
       Change Order No. 1 (Final), Contract 77 and 76A, Daytona Heights
       Collection System, with Clifford Hampton Construction, Inc., 
which
       change order decreases the contract in the amount of $259,668.65, 

       for a final contract amount of $1,217,298.35.
